💡 Today's Wisdom
*Zì tiān yòu zhī, jí wú bù lì* — "supported from heaven, fortune with nothing unfavorable" — closes *Dà Yǒu* at its highest point. Fire above, light at its peak. But the *Xiàng* commentary does not frame this as luck arriving from nowhere. It reads *dà yǒu shàng jí* — the great fortune at the top of this hexagram — as the result of a person who has consistently acted in accordance with right conduct and accumulated genuine virtue along the way. The support is earned, not granted. In practice, this line looks like the people around you who seem to "get lucky" at a pivotal moment — the project that finally gets funded after years of patient work, the small business whose reputation suddenly takes off, the contact who steps in during a crisis because you maintained that relationship for a decade. None of it is random. *Yì è yáng shàn* — suppress what is harmful, elevate what is good — is the *junzi*'s operating principle throughout *Dà Yǒu*: no shortcuts, no opportunism, steady alignment with what is right. Real abundance is not a windfall. It is what accumulates when conduct and timing finally meet. Keep the long log — one honest action per day, tracked.
🎯 Action Advice
Identify one thing you have been doing right despite no visible return. Push it forward today, one concrete step, without waiting for proof it is working.
🔍 Today's Blind Spot
Top nine sits at the peak, and "nothing unfavorable" is a promise made to those whose conduct is complete — not a guarantee for everyone. If you take this moment as a sign that things are going well enough to relax your discipline, you will draw down what you have built. At the height of abundance, holding to your responsibilities matters most.
⚠️ Peak Leads to Decline
Going with the flow is good, but beware of peaking too soon. Stay humble and don't lose yourself in momentary success.
